The Fuse Saver® is your solution for quick and safe short–circuit troubleshooting without the risk of blowing fuses or smoke testing vehicle electrical systems. This kit equips you with three resetting thermal breaker handles, color-coded to match the vehicle’s fuse sizes. It allows you to confidently stress test circuits and find that elusive short without causing damage.
To use, plug the Fuse Saver®’s 10-ft cord into the fuse box, replacing the troubled circuit’s fuse. When a short is detected, the breaker will trip, and the user can manually reset it to reapply power and continue testing. The standard fuse cord comes with integrated ATC/ATO Standard and Mini adapter.

Works perfect for career mechanics I have used it 4 times so far and it works perfect. It is impossible to diagnose a short in a vehicles wiring harness without this.

Fuse Saver Good quality components, helped me when my 1990 geo tracker was randomly blowing fuel pump fuse this act more like a time delay circuit braker rather than a fast acting fuse, it would actually allow car to keep going despite the higher amp draw.then when it tripped just push button to reset. Saved yourself a fuse!!!
